HERBALISTA TOOLKIT

Our online Toolkit is filled with the tools to help folks do herbwork in their community. From templates to recipes, how-to videos to packing lists — we got you covered. Available to Sustaining Members, we hope the Herbalista Toolkit helps you on your herbal journey, just as your support helps us on ours.

Our Sustaining Membership Program helps to ensure the funding to continue providing our community herbwork. By signing up for a recurring membership, you can make a difference all year.

Your membership will be automatically processed each month (or annually) using your debit or credit card until canceled.

You can update your billing details or cancel your membership anytime through your membership account.

If you are a member of a collective or school, check out our group memberships which offer a varying number of logins associated with each account.

First, don’t worry — this can happen. Please try the following steps:

1. Check all inbox folders: sometimes system emails don’t appear in the main inbox. Please check:

  • Spam
  • Promotions
  • Updates
  • All Mail

2. Search your email inbox: in your email search bar, try searching:

This often reveals messages that are hidden from the main inbox view.

3. Add us to your contacts / safe senders list: To make sure our emails always reach you, please add these addresses to your contacts:

This helps prevent future emails from being blocked or filtered.

4. Wait 5–10 minutes before requesting another password reset. Sometimes email queues take a few minutes to process. Requesting multiple resets in quick succession can delay delivery.

5. Try resetting from a private browser window. Open a private / incognito window, then visit the login page and request a password reset again. This avoids browser cache or cookie conflicts.

6. Try a different browser or device. Sometimes password reset links fail due to browser security settings, outdated browsers, or cached login tokens. So try:

  • Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
  • or a different device (phone vs laptop)

Still need help? If you aren’t receiving password reset emails after following the steps above, please contact us so we can help you get it sorted.

Please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address you used to register
  • Log in to your Herbalista account on our website.
  • Go to your User Dashboard by selecting Member > My Account from the menu.
  • In your account dashboard, click on Subscriptions.
  • Locate your active subscription. Next to it, you’ll see a Cancel button.
  • Click Cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle but will not renew.
  • Note: Once canceled, you’ll still have access to your membership benefits until the current billing period ends.
  • You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation directly to your email.

Renewal Terms

  • Sustaining memberships renew automatically on a monthly (or annual) basis unless cancelled.
  • Members will receive a renewal reminder email prior to all renewals.
  • You may cancel at any time through your account portal to prevent future charges. Once cancelled your access to the Toolkit will remain until the end of the current paid billing cycle.

Refund Policy

Because sustaining memberships directly fund ongoing programming and provide access to a digital resource library, access is considered delivered once a member logs into their account.

  • Monthly memberships: Monthly charges are non-refundable once processed. You may cancel at any time to prevent future renewals. Our system sends a reminder a few days prior to the renewal to the email on file for your account.
  • Annual memberships: Annual memberships — including both initial purchases and renewals — may be refunded within 7 days of the charge date if the member has not logged into their account after the charge was processed. After 7 days from the charge date, refunds are not available.
    • Login activity is determined by site records. Once login occurs following a charge, the membership is considered active for that term and is not eligible for refund.
  • If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us within 5 business days so we can review the situation.

This is a standard WooCommerce feature, designed to give you time to fix simple issues before your membership is cancelled.

You can update your payment details anytime under My Account → Subscriptions → Change Payment Method, and the system will automatically retry the charge and restore your access once it succeeds.

As of September 2025, Herbalista memberships are no longer tax-deductible. Previously, we operated through a partner organization that allowed tax-deductibility, but we have since shifted our structure.
